Governing Bodies

It determines the general and financial policies of the Federation, elects the Executive Committee and reviews its activities and accounts.
The Executive Committee conducts the affairs of the Federation between General Meetings. It determines the program and activities in accordance with the general policies adopted by the General Meeting. The Executive Committee revises the annual budget.
A Steering Committee, consisting of the President, the First Vice President and the Treasurer, conducts executive affairs between Executive Committee meetings.
IFSW is divided in five geographical regions:
Each region has one Vice President. Regions may arrange their own meetings and conferences, and elect representatives to regional organisations as well as regional contact persons to the IFSW Human Rights Commission and Permanent Committee on Ethical Issues.
