Proposal - Constitution, Article 17
IFSW General Meeting, 25-27 July 2000 Montréal, Québec, Canada
We propose to amend the present proposal to change Article 17 - section/clause C to read as this:
"Members of the Executive Committee and Officers not able to attend a particular meeting may be substituted by a personal alternate to attend in their place and exercise their rights and duties. The nomination of such alternates shall be made at the time of the elections. The nomination follows the nomination and election process otherwise explained in the Constitution and By-Laws of IFSW. Members of the Executive Committee and Officers not able to attend a particular meeting and wishing to send their personal alternate, must notify the Secretary General of this prior to the start of the meeting."
