IFSW Photo Competition 2008 - CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS

47 photos from all over the world were sent in for the 2nd IFSW photo competition capturing the theme “Social Work: Making a World of Difference”. A panel of social workers shortlisted 25 photos for exhibition at the IFSW World Conference 2008 in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil and an International Panel judged the final placings. The next photo competion will take place in 2010 in connection with the World Conference in 2010. The photo competition is part of IFSW’s “Promotion of the Profession” program.

IFSW PHOTO COMPETITION 2006 - CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS


2006 was the 50th Anniversary of IFSW and to acknowledge this significant event for the World of Social Work, IFSW held a photo competition open to all.

Photos were submitted from all of the 5 IFSW regions and the competition was a success.

Tthe theme for the competition was Social Work: Making a World of Difference

The winners were decided at the IFSW Global Conference in Munich 2006 by an International Panel.

The competition will be a bi-annual event and the final judging will take place at the IFSW global conference.
